Great for personal projects, finishing up a project, or just to have some special 1 – on – 1 attention!

Schedule time with Esther if you would like to get a better “fit” for your garments or to learn special techniques for advancing your sewing skills such as for lingerie and heirloom sewing (smocking, appliqué).

Schedule with Kimberly to learn the basics of draping fabric on a dress form; take a simple bodice design, draft it onto paper and make a plan on sewing steps for your own fashion designs. Or make a pattern of an existing garment.

For the very beginner, this class will teach you the fundamentals of garment construction. From pattern use, fabric grain, measuring, and machine use; to form the foundation for a lifetime of creative sewing! You will make either PJ pants or a simple skirt. If you have always dreamt of making clothing and home décor, join this class and get started now!

Do you need to use our classroom space to work on a project? We offer Open Sewing whenever there isn't a class in session. Must have basic sewing skills needed for machine use. (Call store for sign-up)

Make your simple and elegant dress with woven fabric; learn how to line the bodice and gather or pleat in the skirt; learn how to insert a zipper (regular or invisible zipper). We will choose materials on the first day with teacher’s guidance.
